Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentleman 2003
In the early 80s, after his obligation with the Gretsch ended, Chet Atkins began a relationship with Gibson, producing a series of signatures guitars. The Gibson Country Gentleman was loosely based on the Gretsch 6122 with a few distinct differences. The Gibson model featured a pair of humbuckers, three volume controlls, and a single tone control.
This particular example features the classic orange finish that is most associated with Chet and a has Bigsby vibrato, which was optional on the model. The guitar is in excellent condition with minor wear on the gold plated hardware.
